FUNCTIONS

• Set the vision for the RPCNH youth program, including Sunday evening activity and year-round programming.
• Identify sponsors, teachers and assistants needed to implement the youth program.
• Insure the implementation of the vision in terms of fellowship and service activities.
• Insure the implementation of the vision in terms of Sunday evening curricular content and periodic retreats.  (Practical discipleship.)
• Generally, remain attentive to and pray for RPCNH youth.

2010 MINISTRY RECAP

• Continued revised Sunday evening programming and added “fireside chats” at church members’ homes.  New elements of Sunday night programming include adult testimonies, presentations by TE and RE, student-led discussions, adult-led discussions focusing on the concept of calling, “Stump the Chump” question and answer sessions, and solicitations for ideas from members of the Youth Group.
• Sponsored the following events:

  January	RPCNH youth retreat at Gibsonia.
  February	Father and son college basketball game at Geneva College Church talent show planned and hosted by youth group
  March	Presbytery of the Alleghenies Sprinter Retreat (Christ Castle) Spaghetti Dinner at RPCNH Girls Tea Party
  April	Service project at World Vision
  May	Work day at church member’s home
  July	Laurelville Family Camp
  August	Whitewater rafting/high ropes outing at New River Gorge
  September	Fireside chat at Mikhaels
  October	Presbytery Fall Retreat at Covenant Fellowship RP Church Fireside chat at Porters Pizza and Game night at RPCNH
  November	Work day at church member’s home
  December	Youth Group movie night (joint event with Grace RP Church)

2011 PREVIEW / SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES

• Re-evaluate schedule for youth group meetings.
• Pray for all of our youth and their growth in grace. Pray for our youth who are struggling.
• Parents: please help establish the church’s vision for your children.
• Please take an active interest in the youth of RPCNH. They are valuable members of our church and a vital part of its life. They are the future of Christ’s church.
