Youth Ministries Team

  • Set and implement the vision for the RPCNH youth program, including Lord’s Day evening activity and year-round programming.
  • Identify sponsors, teachers and assistants needed to implement the youth program.
  • Remain attentive to and pray for RPCNH youth.

  • The Youth Group is open to all students in Grades 7-12.
  • In 2015, the YMT continued its general schedule of programming that was started in the fall of 2013. The cornerstone of the program continues to be “Saturday Night Alive”, better known as SNA, which meets either at the homes of host families or at the church building, generally on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month.   We eat a meal or snack together, play games and discuss a specific topic, with Pastor Metzger or Rick B. leading the discussion.  The Youth Group also meets on Lord’s Day evenings for a time of fellowship, prayer, and discussion, but the primary teaching time now takes place at the SNA events.  In 2015, in addition to our regular SNA schedule, our youth group activities included:
MarchPresbytery of the Alleghenies Sprinter Retreat (Christ Castle)

  • Leadership training opportunities for high school juniors and seniors
  • Bi-monthly SNA events will continue to be held. We are in need of willing and enthusiastic host families! Youth group families will likely do the majority of hosting, but other families are welcome to host events as well. If you would like to host the youth (and a few adults!), please contact any member of the Youth Ministries Team.
  • The youth have expressed interest in participating in more service projects/activities as part of the normal youth calendar.
  • Participation in Presbytery of the Alleghenies Youth events – Sprinter Retreat, Fall Retreat, Laurelville, etc.
