Outreach Committee

The responsibilities of the Outreach Committee are to:

• Work with the Session to encourage, challenge, and equip members for the congregation to be faithful
  to the Great Commission.
• When appropriate, to plan and lead evangelism and outreach projects.
• Seek ways to foster the congregation’s interest in and support for mission work.

Year In Review

• Planned and ran a 7-week outreach program using Christianity Explored video series and materials
• Worked with Global Links which is a medical relief and development organization on a Saturday in May
• Christmas caroling in December

Upcoming Opportunities

• We are considering running Christianity Explored again
• We are considering having a church open house in the spring
  • Community day at the church with activities, food, seminars, counseling, and free stuff
• Christmas caroling in December
• Service projects – Global Links or something else
